When was the last time you enjoyed a live performance? Well if it’s been longer than you can remember, you’re really missing out on the wonders of an amazing cultural experience. Whether you are listening to a free community band or symphony, enjoying a college or university ensemble or have paid tickets to your favorite artist, the experience is better than ever.
Shen Yun Performing Arts Live Performance Reviews:
Classical Chinese Dance Introduction:
Going to a live performance is an engaging process that starts with getting ready. What will you wear? Who will you go with? Will you go to dinner before or after? Will you go with your children? How will you get there? Will you drive or will you take the train or will you take a taxi? Is this an outside performance? Can you take a picnic and enjoy food plus drink? The answers to these questions and more all add to your interactive experience with a live performance.
But that’s not all. Attending a live performance is thought provoking, it can help with your understanding of the artists and develop a love for the arts. It encourages creativity in ways just watching a recorded performance just cannot match. Watching a live performance helps preserve a people’s cultural heritage while also helping them understand and experience other cultures better.
So the next time you have a chance to attend a performing arts presentation, take advantage of an experience that will stay with you for the rest your life. Treat yourself and your family to the wide variety of sensory opportunities from community bands to college concerts to paid artists who will rock the house. The choice is yours so don’t miss out.
I like it when you mentioned that you get to stimulate your senses by watching a live performance compared to just watching it from tv. My children simply love to watch tv and I am thinking if it does not bring any benefits to them. I think it would be great if I bring them to watch a live performance during the holiday season so that it gets to stimulate their senses and give a new experience to them.
